Borgo Antico

The farm Borgo Antico is conducted by the Marchesin Family, which through a focused and limited production guarantees the highest quality in the whole wine making process, from the care of its vineyards to the natural grape harvest, from fermentation to bottling: always attentive to traditional values. The property covers over 15 hectares, 11 of which are vineyards. These last ones are of moraine origin and, consequently, they are naturally indicated for the production of wines with excellent organoleptic characteristics since ancient times.

The whole area where the company is situated is known for its wine culture. The lands of Borgo Antico are located in the hills of Conegliano Veneto, an area which has been dedicated to Prosecco production since years. This white wine in fact, perfect for the sparkling process, was recognized as one of the first Italian sparkling wines, but also as still wine with meals or sparkling wine for cocktails. Just think about the first Italian Wine School that already arose in 1878 in the charming town of Conegliano and which still receives enviable accolades today.

However, there is not only prosecco in the production chain: all the wines made by Borgo Antico derive from grapes of its lands and are carefully vinified, maintaining the original characteristics of the product. Our esteemed red wines such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Marzemino also form the basis for the production of Rosso D.O.C. of the Hills of Conegliano, a great wine with protected designation of origin that ages well.

Therefore, the goal of Borgo Antico is always to go beyond quality and services offered to its customers, with all the choices that identify a farm that made the best possible business from the fruits of its land.
